Hello, I’m Shannon
Currently
I'm a Staff Product Designer at Homethrive, a startup supporting the people who care for their loved ones. I start by making something you can actually look at, usually before we've agreed on what we're building. Most recently I've been leading design for our white-label expansion with Bright Horizons, taking a platform built for one audience and reshaping it for a much larger one. Before that, I led strategy for Loss Support, a 0→1 feature for caregivers, and the redesign of our AI Assistant. I focus on understanding complex problems, collaborating closely across disciplines, and using data to craft intuitive, impactful solutions.
Where I've been
Previously, I led the design on the billing and insurance team at Amazon One Medical, improving price transparency during booking to build member trust and increase retention. Before that, I was a Product Designer at startup Imperfect Foods, where I designed an intuitive, delightful shopping experience. Early in my career, I worked with early-stage startups across B2B e-commerce and social media.
For Fun
Outside of design work, you'll find me creating fun art (such as magazine collages), paddleboarding, playing with my dog, Donut, and trying new foods (recently dined at Bosco to try their tomato menu).
